An interesting idea. It needs a little work but it is not bad at all.

Here is a video we made while playing:

Good idea for a game. I like the concept of it. However, the uniqueness of the traps diminishes quickly with such a big map.

Hi ProofreadFire,

thanks for playing our game on YouTube. Sorry some traps weren't recognizable. At the end of the Game Jame, it was quite a rush. I hope we get some more fixes. And maybe we can make the story a bit clearer. And yes, more variety in the traps ...

Cheers,

Falk

Really cool game! Loved the blur effect to make the game a bit more difficult.

Hi Pecan,

it was fun watching you play our game. Thanks for that.

So yours was the final game in my Indie Romp Video. I liked the idea of having to be careful of traps however the way it was implemented I feel needs to be improved on. From what I could see a lot of the traps gave you no way to really tell that something was going to be there and obviously you aren't supposed to know there is a trap but in terms of this it ends up just making it frustrating.

Lastly the fact that if you stand still for more than 30 seconds triggers a reset.... no just no.

Your game starts at 11:40

Hi LordofNope,

thanks for playing our game and for sharing your experience. At the moment it's more frustating than it should be. One of our goals for future updates is certainly to pick up the player a little better. But learning through initial and repeated failure will remain a major part of the concept.

Cheers,

Falk

sorry if i seemed to harsh there. I'm happy to hear you plan to work with this more.

Hi Rostiger Rentner,

thanks for playing and sharing your experience! These "Crystals" are actually breads. XD We made them glow, to show the player that they can be picked up. I'm  sorry, we had not much time for modeling ... After taking a bread with you, you can throw breadcrumbs (right mouse button), to mark your way. The only objective of the game is to find your way home. Our level designer Rico is a nasty guy, thats why you found youself walking circles all the time. I'm also sorry for this.
It's a labyrinth. And you can defeat it. Experience shows that people need between 10 and 30 minutes to find their way home.

Cheers,

Falk

I like the fact that you used the hansel and gretel story as a bases and it's the running away from the witch part for the game jam. That being said, there was some areas that could use some work. I left feedback in the video.

Here's my channel for other games I have played. http://www.youtube.com/c/Levont

Hi Levont,

thanks for reviewing our game. For the bugs: nobody ain’t time for QA during a game jam. ;) We’ll probably fix the severest ones within the next updates. There is much work to do, sure thing. I hope the interest in our little hobby project will justify further work.

Cheers,

Falk

Edit:
Btw: The sound track of your video is about 7 seconds ahead of time.

Graphics are Great and the game is good. Completed the game but I hope you add some scary stuff in the next update.

Hi,

Thanks for playing and sharing on YouTube. I’m glad you enjoyed our game.
I hope we can get some more stuff in soon. That surely depends a little bit on how the interest in our small hobby project will develop.

Cheers,

Falk
